Beaches

Koh Chang beaches are famous for their beauty. Most of them are spread out along the west coast, with two large mountains at either end. The beaches are wonderful places for relaxing. Watch out for the forces of nature when the tide is moving up and down.

Watersport

Enjoy Koh Chang by kayaking. Some companies arrange nice excursions. Take a speedboat to the islands south of Koh Chang or sail among the 40 islands surrounding Koh Chang. The boats mainly starts from Bang Bao, Kai Bae eller Salakpheth.

Riding the elephants

A few miles from our village is an elephant camp. Take a ride, swim with the elephants in Klong Son River and accomplish with feeding the elephants with bananas. Further south down the island there are a couple of other elephant camps.

Massage och spa

There are many stores that offer massages. Those who can present some kind of massage education are often little better.

Restaurants

There are two nice restaurants in our village where you can get everything from breakfast to dinner. In Klong Son two km away there are some genuine Thai restaurants where you get both cheap and tasty food. Our favorite is called BluesBlues and they serve food all day long. In White Sand Beach and the villages further south are lots of nice restaurants. It's easy to find a restaurant that suits your taste.

 

Snorkling and Diving

Best season for diving is from October to April. The best spots are between Koh Chang and Koh Kood. There are many companies that arrange diving courses and dive trips, most of them from Bang Bao.

Fishing

At Salak Peth is a genuine fishing village that you should not miss. You can follow the morning fishing or rent a boat and make your own fishing trip.

Golf

A 9-holes Pitch & Putt golf course is situated at Siam Royal View. A perfect opportunity to practice your pitch and putt for new as well as experienced golfers.

Trekking

Koh Chang is a nature reserve with up to 744 meters high mountains. You can do half or full day tours through an exciting landscape with spectacular views. Take a swim in the waterfalls as a refreshing finish. Between December and May there is tiny water in the waterfalls.

Night life

The best night life you will find in White Sand Beach, 15 minutes by car from our village. You have a great selection from cosy bars to luxury restaurants.

Shopping

You can go shopping in small shops along almost the entire west coast of Koh Chang. At the roads you will encounter many markets with clothes and fruit. White Sand Beach and Khlong Prao are the two largest shopping centers.
